Description
The PowerShares DB Energy Fund (Symbol: DBE) (the “Fund”) is based on the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity Index - Optimum Yield Energy Excess Return™ (the “Index” or "DB Energy Index") and is managed by DB Commodity Services LLC (the “Managing Owner). The Index is a rules-based index composed of futures contracts on some of the most heavily traded energy commodities in the world—Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI), Heating Oil, Brent Crude Oil, RBOB Gasoline and Natural Gas. The Index is intended to reflect the performance of the energy sector.

Investors can buy and sell shares in the Fund at market price on the NYSE Arca, Inc. Ordinary brokerage commissions apply. Shares may only be redeemed directly from the Fund by Authorized Participants in blocks consisting of 200,000 shares.
